Chester moorings are close to the city walls and a walk around the walls presents some remarkable views of the city, cathedral and surrounding areas. Within the city walls are the famous medieval rows, with their varied shops, boutiques and attractions.
Moor-up north of Chester at Caughall Bridge (134), and it is just a short half mile walk to Chester Zoo.
Reach Ellesmere Port and there is the fascinating Boat Museum, close by is the Manchester Ship Canal where you can watch the big ships go slowly past.
